The beauty in things

Nunca llegamos a saber cuánto va a durar nuestra vida.

We never know how long our life is gonna be. As my granny says 'we know when we get here, but we don't when we leave'. Wise words... and wise (and amazing) lady. I think I already said in one of the first posts here, we usually assume that will live a lot of years, I guess we are culturally prepared to believe this way, or maybe it's because the natural survival instinct human beings have innately.

In this regard, there are several natural instincts walking up and down our bodies while not being aware of their presence until one day, for some called X circumstances, emerge very quickly and strongly. They are also protective instincts, right? They protect us from ourselves, because as we don't know when our life road will end, don't know what we will find on it either, so there are many situations we have to live that caught us completely off guard and sometimes we don't know how to react, or so we think at first. The inner strenght is different in each person but is always there, always. It's the one which make us making decisions at critical moments, which keeps us going when we believe we can't help and which support ourselves and whoever needs us to be close.

The inner strenght we all have is amazing and a beautiful virtue. I would say it's a gift, one shared by all living things. Isn't it beautiful thinking about it? Imagine how much positive energy would travel the whole world if we all put this inner strenght out at the same time. I imagine myself looking at the world from above, from space, and I see a bright pink cloud going at full speed spreading good cheer and positivism.

Today I find the beauty in the positive energy we all have inside.

What do you guys think about this? Remember some moment you had to use your inner strenght? Feel free to comment anonymously.

Have a happy weekend, dears! See you on Monday xoxo.

  1. Great post. I love that you write both in English and Spanish. I studied abroad in Spain during my junior year in college and since then I've forgotten so much spanish but your blog proves to be a great resource where I can read the posts in Spanish and check up on the English to make sure I captured everything accurately!
