Rarezas/ Oddities

Have you ever stopped to think about those odd things in you? Personally, I find it hard to admit as "odd things" the quirks of most people. My opinion is rather that we are all so similar to each other that when we see anything in someone we don't recognize in ourselves naturally, we think it's just weird. Because I do believe we're similar, the point is that we're not transparent and since we don't communicate right, we believe that we are too different, so it's easier to feel far from each other. Well, maybe the word is not "similar", because each individual is unique and amazing, that is, but we have many points in common, especially it comes to experiences and emotions. I have found out, as I ever tell you, once you decide to let your spirit start to feel free and talk about what you feel like sharing, it's huge to discover how many people around you were going through the same you were.

But the quirks of each person is something that always fascinates me and I enjoy watching them. After my years of silent scan, I can say that some of these are innate, some are learned from living experiences and others we did as children and were "locked" in a box by ourselves when we became grown-ups, sometimes we let them out when we feel self-confident again. You know, when we are little, complexes don't exist.

My mom told me that as a child and went to school, many nights, after letting me asleep with lights off, after a while she found out I had gotten out of bed, had erased the homework I had done hours earlier and was sitting in my seat, doing it again. (This story always gives me goosebumps. How can you be such a perfectionist when hardly know even how to spell "perfectionist"?)

Something I always enjoy to do is eating sausages heated by the microwave. And not with fork and knife, I like to roll it up in a napkin and biting. Even now I am veg, some very sporadic day I give myself the treat.

I entertain myself constantly thinking about what words I like. I tell two of my faves (the words in english: popped and weird).

From what I can remember, I've always got relaxed by putting myself head down, leaning back in a bed which is against the wall, extending my legs up on that wall. Until I started to share a bed, and this one is already placed in the middle of the room, many nights I fell asleep like that, feet up.

Those are some of my "quirks", but I don't see them as such, and I am sure that by reading, some of you will recognize yourselves on them. Another day I'll tell more, if you are in the mood. Which are yours? Any really, really weird? Or all perfectly normal?
