Smoother Grease

El otro día me pareció oir una versión del tema principal de Grease en un anuncio. Ya sabéis... "You're the one that I want, ooo oo ooo!"... Por si no lo he cantado muy bien, me refiero a éste. Pues tras investigar un poco, resulta que sí, que oí bien, ésta es la canción que oí. 

The other day I seemed to hear a version of the main musical track at Grease in an ad. You know... "You're the One That I Want, ooo oo ooo!"... In case I haven't sung very well, I mean this one. Well, after some research, it turns out that I did, I heard right, and this is the cover.

Siempre he disfrutado de las versiones acústicas. Y a vosotros, ¿os gustan?

Casual Mondays

¿Qué habéis hecho este fin de semana? 

Me muero por contar que el sábado estuvimos con unos amigos y Teo recibió su primer abrazo! El primer abrazo de su tamaño. Uno de los preciosos hijos de nuestros amigos, que tiene la misma edad que Teo, es tan cariñoso y dulce que quería abrazarlo y darle algún besito siempre que tenía oportunidad. Llevo desde entonces mirando esta foto a cada momento:

What did you guys do this weekend?

I'm dying to tell we were with some good friends on Saturday and Teo got his first hug! The first perfect-sized! One of our friend's beautiful sons, who is the same age as Teo is, is sooo lovely and sweet he wanted to hug him and give him a kiss every time he had the chance. I've been looking at this photo since then:

Por la cara de nuestro gordi, podéis ver que no tenía claro a qué venía aquello y si le gustaba o no!

As you can see, Teo was not sure about that, and neither if he really liked it!

Ayer salimos los tres a comer en una terraza antes de que empezara a llover de nuevo y compartimos todo, la comida de Teo y nuestros platos: crema de calabacín con romero, tallarines al pesto rojo (tomate seco) y hamburguesas vegetales con ensalada por nuestro lado y Teo aportó macarrones con orégano y tostada con crema de aguacate.

Yesterday we went out for lunch before it started to rain again, and the three of us shared our dishes: Cream of zucchini with rosemary, red pesto pasta (dried tomatoes) and veggie burgers with salad, and Teo brought macaroni with a touch of oregano and avocado cream toasts.

Y el viernes Teo estuvo dibujando para ayudarme a hacerle un regalo más que bonito a mi madre por el Día de la Madre. Y también tuve suerte finalmente, me dio los besitos que esperaba y me regaló cosas preciosas que eligió expresamente para mi (según me ha contado Juan)!

On Friday, Teo was drawing to helped me getting the most beautiful giveaway for my mom, since yesterday it was Mother's Day. Oh, and I was finally lucky and he gave me all those kisses I was expecting for and some beautiful gifts he has chosen especially for me (as Juan told me)!

This day is for moms/ Este día es para las mamás

A todas las mamás del mundo, a las que pasan las 24 horas del día cuidando de sus hijos, que son todas, las que se quedan en casa y las que desde sus puestos de trabajo dividen su cuerpo, su mente en la oficina y su corazón junto a ellos.
