DIY pack

Dando una vuelta por la tierra de las pizarras bonitas, es decir Pinterest, me he topado con tantos DIY maravillosos que he "confeccionado" un pequeño pack con algunos de los más bonitos y sencillos. Por si esta semana estáis con ganas de hacer cosas nuevas, estos son facilísimos!

Walking around the land of the pretty boards, I mean Pinterest, I bumped so many awesome DIY crafts I made a little pack with some of the most beautiful and simple. As if this week you are in the mood for doing new things, these are easy to die!

Oh, éste me ha robado el corazón. Creo que voy a hacer varios, y saldré esta tarde con Teo a pegarlos por la calle. 

Oops, this one has stolen my heart. Thinking of making several, and going out with Teo this afternoon to stick them over streets.

Para saber qué planta es cada una (esto a mi me hace mucha falta que no se diferenciar cuáles son los tomates y cuáles las berenjenas, ahora que tenemos huerto...).

To know which plant it is.... plant markers! (this is going to be very useful to me because I don't actually know whic one is the tomato plant and which is the eggplant, now we have a small garden...).

Mirad los taburetes. Algo parecido hice con los nuestros de madera hace unos meses. Al revés, pintando por abajo como si fueran calcetines, también quedan genial.

Watch these stools. I did something similar to our wooden ones some months ago. Upside down, painting the bottom of the legs, kind of socks, they look great too.

Y para las próximas navidades, ya se qué voy a llevar a casa de quiénes nos inviten!!

Weekend fever

Buenos días! O, al menos lo serán para alguien... He pasado casi todo el fin de semana con fiebre. Y Teo también (lo compartimos todo ♥). Oooh, y con este calor de Agosto, no ha sido muy agradable, no, no. Pero mañana volverá todo a la normalidad y espero que paséis por aquí a visitarme, que tengo preparados unos post muy entretenidos para esta semana. Muchos besos y hasta mañana ;)

Good morning! It certainly is to someone... I spent almost all weekend having a fever. And so did Teo (we share everything ♥). Oh, oh and this August heat, it was not very nice, no, no, it wasn't. But everything will be back to normal tomorrow and I really wait for you to come over to visit, because I have some very cool posts this week. Kisses and see you tomorrow ;)

The beauty in things: no cars /sin coches

Una carretera sin coches, tan solitaria que puedes caminar por ella sin riesgo a que te atropelle cualquier vehículo es algo que siempre me ha atraído. Creo que a todos de algún modo nos atrae, porque cuando cierran una vía con vallas por cualquier motivo, muchas de las personas que vamos caminando, no permanecemos en las aceras, sino que velozmente bajamos a la calzada y caminamos a nuestras anchas por el asfalto negro y desierto. A mi me gusta. Es una sensación curiosa, de extraña libertad, han bajado la barrera de los límites y puedo andar mi camino fuera de el estrecho acotado. Curiosa, verdad? Ayer, en mi trayecto diario hacia recoger a Teo, habían cortado la vía para repintar la línea de separación de carriles. Claro, bajé rápidamente de mi acera, y me pareció hermoso. Es que por aquí hay muchas carreteras bonitas. Pero ¿no es extraordinario que un camino que hasta hace unos segundos era ruidoso y contaminante, ahora sea un remanso de paz? Los árboles, los pájaros y las máquinas de pintar líneas son una bendición.

Feliz fin de semana a todos. Tenéis algún plan especial? Nosotros vamos a ver a unos amigos y a su bebé preciosa, y llevamos meses deseando conocerla!

A road with no cars, so lonely you can walk through it without risk to get hit by any vehicle is something I always felt attracted to. I think everyone somehow do, because when they close a road with fences for whatever reason, many of we people are walking, don't stay on the sidewalks, but quickly go down the roadway and walk confortably by the black and empty asphalt. I really like. It is an intriging sensation, kind of strange freedom, they have deleted boundaries so I can walk the way, out of the bounded strait. Curious, right? Yesterday, on my daily journey to pick Teo up, they had closed the road for cars, to repaint the lane separation line. Sure, I quickly left my sidewalk, and it looked beautiful. There are many beautiful roads over here. But isn't it extraordinary that a road which until a few seconds was noisy and polluting, is now a haven of peace? Trees, birds and line painters are a blessing.

Anillo de piedras/ Pebble ring

No llevo anillos con frecuencia, aunque me gustan. Desde que tuve edad para empezar a usarlos, cuando lo hago, llevo sólo uno y en el dedo índice. Así es como me gusta. Éste me parece de los más bonitos que he visto, y lo he encontrado a este precio, pero también a éste!!

I don't use to wear rings, despite I like them. Since I was old enough to start wearing, when I do, I wear just one on my index finger. That's the way I like it. This ring is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, and I found it this price, but this one too!

Lovely, lovely house

Ya hace algunos días que no escribo ningún post de decoración, ¿verdad? Pues entonces no pierdo más tiempo y os enseño las fotos de esta preciosa casa, de la que me gusta todo! Ya sabéis que sigo muchos blogs de deco, así que, con bastante frecuencia caigo rendida a los pies de algún apartamento encantador o alguna casa maravillosa. Ésta podría ser mi casa :)) Pero ya tiene dueña, la artista Kim Schoen. De verdad, me gusta todo, incuso la lista de cosas a evitar (things to avoid).

It's been a while since I wrote a post about interiors, right? Then I'm not wasting time and here go the pictures of this lovely home, which I like everything! You know I follow lots of decor blogs, so quite often I fall in love with some cozy apartment or a charming house. This one could be my house :)) But it has an owner already, la artista Kim Schoen. Really, I love everything in it, even the things-to-avoid list.

¿No es perfecta? Desayunaría cada día en esta mesita de aquí encima. Aunque estuviera debajo de una montaña de nieve (aunque no creo, porque esta casa está en Los Angeles.)

Isn't it perfect? I would have breakfast at this little table above everyday. Despite it was under an snow mound (I don't think this is going to happen, becuase this house is on L.A.)
